Jordan R. Pavlus recently obtained foreclosure judgments on two separate parcels of real property. The mechanic’s liens were filed for construction materials supplied to a contractor. Since neither parcel on which the mechanic’s liens were filed had any other mortgages, mechanic’s liens or was otherwise encumbered, it was prudent to proceed with the foreclosure of the mechanic’s liens. The real property is assessed well in excess of the amount of the mechanic’s liens and therefore, presents an avenue for the material supplier/lienor to obtain payment in full.
The parcels are currently being scheduled for a foreclosure auction date.
